brush door seals do a most uncommon job of sealing
rolling steel doors. As an example, unlike vinyl, brush
will not wear out or deteriorate. Truth is , that no
other material can seal the sides of a rolling steel
door (see photo). Only the flexibility of brush allows a
complete seal on the door’s corrugations (inside). When
sealed on all four sides (and dock leveler if needed),
nothing gets through a rolling steel door; Insects,
rodents and even air are forever blocked from entering
your building. If sealed for food safety, you get energy
savings for free. If done for air blockage, you get pest

nylon brush door seals are recommended for food processing and handling
facilities. They are U.L. Rated as "Gasketing Material for Fire
Doors" (viable from -100ºF to +200ºF).
Type 6 nylon
brush door seal is known for its extremely long life, toughness and ability
to regain its shape (memory) when pressure is removed. This material
will not wear out. Thousands of nylon filaments per foot are locked
into a steel channel which is in turn held in an aluminum extrusion
designed to fit specific size brushes and applications.
